Urinary Incontinence is a growing concern for many middle-aged women, and men. One of the best solutions is to do Kegel Exercises everyday. This helps to strengthen the internal muscles responsible for keeping the bladder lifted and toned.
Another solution is to take supplements that help to increase the tone of the urinary tissues. Anti-oxidants like VitaFruits and VitaVeggies are helpful, as well as Probiotics from a human source. Probiotics ensure the right balance of good and bad bacteria in the urinary tract, and help to stave off infection in this area.

Is Milk Really that Good for You?

The dairy board would certainly have you believing that milk and other dairy products are healthy for all of us. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Most people over the age of 2 have difficulty digesting dairy products. The reason for this is that our natural enzyme lactase decreases as we age. We have lactase to digest our mother’s breast milk and once we’re finished breastfeeding, our lactase decreases naturally. This is why so many people are diagnosed with lactose intolerance. The other argument that often presents itself is the whole calcium and osteoporosis issue. Yes, there is calcium in dairy products, however it is not usually used very well by the body to strengthen the bones. Strong bones have more to do with preventing the loss of calcium from the bones. This is a chemistry issue. Calcium comes out of the bones to buffer the blood when the blood is too acidic. What makes the blood too acidic? Proteins, such as dairy products. This is one of the reasons that there is more osteoporosis in dairy consuming countries, as opposed to countries that consume no dairy at all!
To maintain healthy bones, make sure you consume an alkalinizing diet and take only whole food vitamins that are not too high in calcium. Synthetic calcium supplements can actually send a signal to your body to remove calcium from the bones! For more info read my book, The Healthy Millionaire.

Did you eat your 7-12 servings of fruits and vegetables yet today? The answer is probably no. In today’s fast paced society, we no longer take the time to prepare enough fresh fruits and vegetables for our snacks and meals. Unfortunately it is our health that suffers these consequences. Our cells require nutrients from fresh, raw and unprocessed fruits and vegetables on a daily basis and most of us are not consuming nearly enough of these important foods. The higher the fruit or vegetable on the ORAC scale the better. The ORAC scale quantifies the ability of a food to quench free radicals (toxins). The higher on the ORAC scale, the better. For example, Goji berries are very high in ORAC value as compared to apples. Not too many people eat Goji berries daily. Well now you can consume Goji, and all of nature’s highest ORAC containing fruits and veggies in VitaFruits and VitaVeggies from VitaTree Nutritionals. 2 capsules of VitaFruits in the morning and 2 caps of VitaVeggies in the afternoon give you the equivalent of 7 servings of fruits and vegetables daily! A great way to get those missed servings, plus the high anti-oxidant content act to quench free radicals that bombard your cells every minute of every day. VitaFruits and VitaVeggies are a whole food multivitamin, containing all the important phytonutrient co-factors that make our cells function properly, and of course, fight diseases such as cancer and heart disease.
